All this happened on Field Day at the Cape Blanco airfield. Simulating big quake relief teams and supplies being flown into the southern coast. Many different military teams involved. This was held by the Rogue Valley Amateur Radio Club and Cascade Amateur Radio Enthusiast club and dedicated to recent SK Bud, W7LNG who was a mainstay in the RVARC and headed up FD for many yrs. JACKSON COUNTY ARES, aka JCARES, was also present with their comm van and table with education material and recruiting.
The three element triband beam is on the green telescopic tower for hf,
usually these are for 10, 15 and 20 mtrs on HF. the large 5 element
beam on the yellowish twr is a hygain monobander for 20 mtrs. the
aluminum tower at 60' is a full size two element quad for 40 mtrs(ooo
yeah, now we be talk'n).
