Hi everyone,
Oregon Section ARES is returning to the DEC structure, however, it will not be a strict hierarchical structure. The responsibilities of the SEC, ASECs, and DECs are to support the county EC’s and their units with no micro-managing. The county ARES EC’s are responsible for their units.
If you are aware of changes to leadership that I don’t know about, please let me know. See the ARES Leadership and Units page (on the right side of the screen) for who I believe are currently leadership folks. If you have a county AUXCOMM, ACES, RACES, ACS unit, or unit by another name, and would like your county group and coordinator listed on that page, please provide me with the name of the group and the name and call sign of the coordinator, and I will list you. That will ensure that you will be notified of ARES activities, which you may participate in if you wish to.
If you have any regional meetings (such as the upcoming D3 meeting) that you would like listed on the calendar, let me know that as well, and I will add them.
