It is with sadness I announce that Gary Cooper of Umatilla, Oregon (and recently, Portland) – N7ZHG – became a Silent Key on Wednesday – 11/16/20 – after battling cancer. Gary was a friend to many in the amateur community. He has served as an EC and DEC in that past and was a strong supporter of ARES emergency operations and ARRL in general. He will be missed by all.
